Beach Municipal FCU’s Denim for Dollars Program Supports Local Organizations

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – July 29, 2026 – Beach Municipal Federal Credit Union employees continue to demonstrate their commitment to the community through the Credit Union's Denim for Dollars program, supporting local organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of Virginia Beach residents, families, and animals.

Through the program, employees contribute a small donation in exchange for the opportunity to wear jeans on designated days, with all proceeds benefiting local charities and community initiatives. Employees select organizations whose missions align with the Credit Union's commitment to serving the community.

In the second quarter of 2026,  employees selected both the Virginia Beach Animal Care and Adoption Center and the Virginia Beach Judeo Christian Outreach Center as Denim for Dollars recipients.

Funds donated to the Virginia Beach Animal Care and Adoption Center help support its mission of providing compassionate care, shelter, adoption services, and resources for animals throughout the community.

Donations to the Virginia Beach Judeo Christian Outreach Center support its work assisting individuals and families in need through services including food assistance, emergency support, housing resources, and programs that help neighbors work toward stability and self-sufficiency.
