Duties:

JOB SUMMARY

The MAC provides a critical role in providing information, support and problem resolution to our members and staff on electronic products and services.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide assistance to staff and members on all electronic services. Troubleshoot member access issues and reset passwords.
  • Verify the accuracy of Virtual Branch Home-Banking services set up by branch personnel. Monitor member usage and delete inactive accounts. 
  • Respond to members’ inquiries regarding electronic transactions. Research and resolve problems. Interact with third-party vendors as necessary.   
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all electronic services. As necessary, provide product documentation and updates to staff.
  • Process verification and posting of all member wires.
  • Ensure all electronic communications and voicemails are responded to in a timely manner. This includes both internal and external communications.
  • Process eStatement enrollment and de-enrollment requests from members. Review and resolve bounced eStatement notifications. Correspond with members to resolve discrepancies.   Respond to members' inquiries regarding eStatement fees. De-enroll inactive accounts.  
  • Perform back office support of Share Certificate program regarding the member renewal/maturity instructions, ensuring those certificates secured as collateral for loans are maintained.
  • Balance electronic daily activity (ATM, Zelle, Share Branching, etc.) in accordance with procedures. Research and process any adjustments when necessary.
  • Process mobile deposits and ACH origination, revocation and change requests. Maintain spreadsheets and store reports as necessary.  
  • Process all ACH and share draft exceptions in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Ensure all credit and debit card applications are accurately set up on the appropriate systems. Process balance transfer requests. 
  • Ensure all fraud cases for debit and credit card transactions are resolved timely
  • Process or verify all Payroll Distribution/Transfer Files requests submitted by members or branch personnel.
  • Responsible for ordering and distribution of all supplies.

 

Compliance and Administration

  • Completes all required paperwork and data input accurately, in compliance with Credit Union policies and procedures.
  • Understands the Credit Union’s financial goals and strategic direction.
  • Stays updated on Credit Union products, services, and compliance regulations, ensuring adherence to established standards and guidelines.
  • Understands all security and responsibilities of the departments within the Credit Union.
     

Performance and Training

  • Consistently meets or exceeds performance goals as established by management. 
  • Meets all internal training requirements for this position, annually.
     

Additional Functions

  • Attend meetings, training courses, and seminars.
  • Perform clerical support duties as necessary.
  • Assist in other departments as necessary.
  • Performs other functions as required.

Requirements:

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years member/customer relations experience, Credit Union or financial institution preferred.
  • Excellent member service and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong cross-selling skills.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional member service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated with a strong initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of financial products and services.
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Must have basic keyboarding and data entry skills, including a working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Dependable and detail-oriented.
  • Intermediate mathematical skills (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.).
