Beach Municipal FCU’s Coins for Community Program Supports VBCPS Back-to-School Care Fair

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – July 29, 2026 – Beach Municipal Federal Credit Union is proud to announce its latest Coins for Community donation in support of the Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS) Back to School Care Fair, helping provide backpacks for students as they prepare for the new school year.

Hosted by Virginia Beach City Public Schools, the Back to School Care Fair will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. The annual event connects students and families with school supplies, free backpacks, community resources, health services, and other support to help ensure a successful start to the school year.

The donation was made possible through Beach Municipal FCU's Coins for Community program, an initiative that transforms everyday transactions into meaningful community support. Fees collected from member coin machine transactions are matched dollar-for-dollar by the Credit Union and donated to local nonprofit organizations and community-focused initiatives.
